I have been a little bit behind in sharing what I’ve been up to lately - I just got back from a quick trip to NYC following a double wedding weekend (one in a hurricane)! One of those weddings was this gorgeous day with Jill & Talon, at the dreamy rustic venue The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm. This was such a beautiful, intimate wedding day with lots of cool and sentimental touches (bridesmaids in jumpsuits?! YES!). Read more for more previews of their amazing barn wedding!Read More
Megan and Beau’s wedding on Saturday was such an emotional, loving, and beautiful celebration - filled with happy tears and lots of laughs! Although we had a few sun showers, the skies cleared and the ceremony went on without a hitch (but with a few swigs from Beau’s flask). Here are some sneak peeks from their day!Read More
Pink and gold and sparkles, oh my! Christina and Lee’s Dartmouth wedding on Saturday was full of glam and it came together perfectly! Kelby and Alex tied the knot in a stunning rural location in Pomquet, Nova Scotia, this past Saturday at the charming Chez Deslauriers property. There were (happy!) tears shed, children running and laughing, and the coolest bar I’ve seen to date - oh, and did I mention the pigs? Read more for some previews from their big day.Read More

I didn’t get the chance to meet Kirsten and Brayden before their wedding, but I can’t imagine a warmer welcome - these two make up one of the kindest, sweetest couples I’ve had the chance to photograph. They fell in love as teenagers after meeting in their local youth group and haven’t looked back since!
I made the drive to Pictou County on Saturday to photograph their beautiful wedding day, hosted at Parker’s Barn. Their day was filled with emotional and sentimental touches; from the father-daughter first look at Allan Park, to a ring box made from a tree that was planted when Kirsten was born. One of my favorite parts of the day was during their ceremony, they asked the people in their lives who they considered their spiritual leaders to pray over them as they entered a new life together - there were many tears in the crowd (me included!), and I thought it such a beautiful way to pay homage to those who helped them grow together.
Here are some previews from their special day - congratulations Kirsten & Brayden!Read More
Today’s post is a big one… but I can’t help myself! If you caught my sneak peek post from this wedding, you’ll know that I am totally obsessed with this day. Ausha and Gregg flew me out to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to join them for a week while they tied the knot in the best way; under the sun, by the beach, surrounded by family and friends. My wedding season started off back in April with the sweetest elopement right on the waterfront in Halifax, Nova Scotia. When Tanya and Corey contacted me only a few months before to shoot their small wedding, I couldn’t say no - I’m a sucker for an intimate ceremony. They braved the rain to have the ceremony they dreamed of by the harbour, followed by a few photos inside their favourite restaurant, CUT Steakhouse, and reconvened the following week for some nighttime photos on the boardwalk in clearer weather. When she asked me to come on board for a shoot to showcase her new associates, I couldn’t say no. Here’s a little bit of the magic we captured during our quick morning shoot in downtown Halifax.Read More
