Places To Stay: The Breeze Motel | Wolfville, Nova Scotia

Unveiling the Cozy Charm of The Breeze Motel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Breeze Motel in Grand Pré, and it was truly such a treat - a perfect location close to everything Wolfville has to offer while offering privacy and a quiet space to wind down (in my case, after a busy wedding day).

I got in late and was so happy to see that this suite included a cozy living room with a fireplace insert - exactly what I needed after my first fall wedding - so with a glass of wine and a good book, I was in heaven! The Breeze has everything you need to unwind, and all the kitchen staples too (plus they leave a couple of yummy chocolates for you which is just the cherry on top).

In an ideal world, I’d want to arrive to The Breeze a bit earlier though - they have a cozy communal fire pit and they are directly on the beach, so it’s the perfect spot to catch the sunset and get your feet in the sand! This would be a great spot for wedding guests to stay, there’s lots of space to hang out and get to know each other or just have space for bigger families. It’s close to some amazing wineries like Planter’s Ridge and the Beausoleil Homestead (to pick up a bottle to enjoy while the sun goes down) and of course, all of the best restaurants the Valley has to offer.

Waking up the next morning, I had the best view - at The Breeze, you’re mere steps away from the ocean and they’ve got lots of seating spaces for you to enjoy the landscape while having your coffee.

Honestly though, couldn’t you picture an elopement here with a cozy fire afterwards? This place can do it all! I can definitely see an adventure elopement with wind swept hair and smores for dessert, cuddled around the fire with only your nearest and dearest people.

One thing I really love and appreciate about this space is that it’s women-owned and operated - Noelle and Victoria came together to make such a beautiful, unique and stylish space that has you feeling right at home as soon as you walk through the doors. I love their eye for design and that every detail has been thought out. Thanks for having me, Victoria & Noelle!
