Associate Photographer: Harrison

In his own words:

I’m Harrison (Harry if you like!) and I’m a photographer with a passion to tell stories. Born in Halifax, I grew up splitting time between the ocean and Ontario. Coming home a few short years ago, I settled in Hubbards and have been enjoying everything the South Shore has to offer ever since. You’ll catch me documenting the beautiful stories of couples in love, and the landscape of Nova Scotia with my dog Una and my fiancée Hannah. I’ve been photographing since picking up a camera almost 10 years ago, falling in love with the camera’s ability to freeze a moment in time.

Working with some incredible photographers and being able to hone my craft has given me the experience and confidence to bring my vision and fun, laid-back energy to couples who want a unique approach and photographs that will stand the test of time.

There are two driving forces behind my work, a vision to style beautiful and classic details of your biggest day; and a documentary approach that captures the heartfelt, candid moments shared between people in love, and those that love them most.

Why hire an associate?

Choosing someone to represent our brand wasn’t an easy task - we needed someone with an excellent eye, similar shooting style, and a stellar, upbeat personality who would serve every client with the same enthusiasm and service that Sinead does. Our associate Harrison has spent time training with and gaining on-the-job experience with Sinead (and giving her some tips on shooting film, just one of his many talents!), and his shooting style flows naturally with what you’d expect to see from Sinead Dubeau Photography. 

Harrison has an eye for finding the best light, an easy-to-love presence and a knack for finding beauty in the smallest details - we are so, so happy to have him on our team!
