Nora and Sean were two of my absolute sweetest clients this past year. They tied the knot in their local church, followed by a reception at Nora’s family’s home - it was such a gorgeous spot! Every part of the day was picture perfect, from the apple trees in Sean’s grandmother’s yard to finishing the day with a beautiful sunset over the field at Nora’s family’s property.
Their wedding had so many personal details and sentimental moments that I absolutely loved. Nora had an emotional first look with her father (be still my heart!) - scroll down to see - and one of my favorite reception details was the table numbers; along with each number, they had a photo of them at the same age (how cool is that!). Back in the fall, Paria of Blissful Beginnings reached out about doing a luxe styled shoot with green, gold and velvet details - perfect for inspiration for winter weddings! Andrea from Lupin Design Studio designed the gorgeous stationary and menu details, and Shannon from One Day Affairs provided the gorgeous faux floral pieces. Rentals (including that to-die-for green velvet tablecloth) were provided by Glow Parties and Events. Location was RIO Halifax which added a cool industrial feel!

Today I’m reminiscing about a sunny July wedding by the water at one of my favorite venues, Saraguay House. I absolutely love their waterfront location for ceremonies and the indoor reception area with wall to wall windows!
Martina and Scott were such a fun and relaxed couple to work with, and weathered both sprinkles of rain and scorching sun on their big day! Luckily, no one got too wet and the celebration went by without a hitch. Scroll down for more from their wedding day - including the cool getting ready location for Martina, DIY Mom’s house!

Johanna & Adan called me last year all the way from Ontario to inquire about photographing their intimate wedding at Oceanstone Seaside Resort in Indian Harbour, NS. We managed to meet up during a weekend visit for an engagement session to capture some images before they said “I do”!

Okay you guys - I can’t help but share this stunning session from 2017 because it’s one of my all time favourites!
These two are so incredibly stylish and head-over-heels in love! They wanted a “Halifax” feel and we split our time between the Public Gardens and the Halifax Waterfront to ensure we captured the best of the city. Nerses proposed via song (I can’t make this stuff up!) and requested we use his guitar for a few images. This is one shoot that I’ll always love!
